This holder for the Rev SPARKMAX was originally created by team 2412 for the 2019 season and has been refined and perfected over several years. I have taken the most recent version used on the 2024 robot and made some changes to make it fit a wider range of mounting options. It is designed to attach with #10 screws or 3/16 rivets on a 1/2" or 1" grid. If used on a mechanism that experiences high shock loads, a zip-tie can be used for positive retention.
One holder is made up of two parts printed laying down and then mounted side-by-side. For secure fitment it is recommended to use a durable but slightly springy material such as PLA+ or PETG:
